This label guarantees that these funds comply with ESG criteria throughout their investment chains. To be eligible for the ESG label, 100% of the portfolio must be filtered through Environmental, Social and Governance criteria.
For our SMaRT Food strategy this is reflected in its investing in companies in the food value chain that help fight against pollution and climate change or promote healthy and quality diets. The fund’s investment universe extends from organic fertiliser makers to distributors of natural and organic foods to aluminium can recyclers and labs that test the quality of products meant for consumption. And our investors have nothing to complain about financially, as AuM hit 258 million euros on 20 December 2016 (source BNPP IP), a little more than one year after its launch.
